Positive Planet is looking for an Apprentice Carbon Emissions Analyst to support the execution, research and delivery of our products to customers. You will play a key role in obtaining and processing scope 1,2 & 3 emissions data that will directly feed into client-facing reports.
The Role:
In this role, you’ll be working with customers to collect data in order to determine their carbon footprint. You will also be supporting the client with data to enable them to formulate a carbon reduction plan. In order to achieve this you will:
- Support clients to collect data about their operations.
- Process and standardise data as it is received.
- Analyse the resulting information and work with suppliers to identify innovative solutions to help reduce the client’s emissions.
- Research environmental legislation and stay abreast of any changes.
- Produce regular reports to be presented back to clients by an account manager.
- Support supply chain emissions calculations using customer data inputs, internal systems and emissions data.
- Research and collect carbon emissions data from public and private sources.
- Estimate time requirements of customer deliverables.
- Work in tandem with the leadership team to iterate and/or develop internal data sourcing, processing and management processes.

Qualifications:
- You’ll need to have a degree, or similar qualification/experience, in a related subject, such as sustainability, environmental science, finance, accounting or a data-driven technical field.
- Previous hands-on work experience working with databases and processing large volumes of data in Excel and/or Google Sheets familiarity with Google Apps Script is a plus.

- A basic salary of c.£20K is offered depending on experience
