Positive Planet Partners with Eevery to Digitalise ESG Reporting for SMEs

Positive Planet has partnered with ESG data platform Eevery to help SMEs streamline their sustainability reporting. By combining Eevery’s smart digital tools with Positive Planet’s expert consultancy, the partnership makes ESG data collection, materiality assessments and reporting simpler, faster and more accessible for growing businesses

What is Eevery?

Eevery is a ESG data platform, specifically designed for SMEs. Its mission is to make a positive impact by helping SMEs operate more sustainably.

The team at Eevery understands that ESG reporting frameworks are often built with large corporates in mind, leading to complex requirements that can be burdensome for smaller organisations. Eevery simplifies the process by streamlining data collection and management, helping SMEs report accurately and meet disclosure requirements with greater ease.

“We are super happy with the Positive Planet partnership. Eevery supports SMEs with their sustainability performance and improvement strategy. Our platform provides a baseline assessment, helps define material impacts and guides improvements. It also generates a VSME (new EU standard) report if needed. We find that our users really like expert support and guidance. Particularly when it comes to ESG strategy and impact. Precisely the expertise that Positive Planet provides.

The combination of our platform and this proactive advice delivers immediate and tangible value for businesses.  Together we can Lead the Change and make a real positive impact.”

How is Eevery used at Positive Planet?

As part of Eevery’s Partner Programme, Positive Planet integrates the platform into its consultancy work to support clients with materiality assessments, data collection and ESG reporting, all while layering in expert sustainability advice. Completing a materiality assessment is a crucial first step in ESG reporting. This involves identifying an organisation’s most significant environmental and social impacts, as well as its financial risks and opportunities.

The process begins with an Impact Scan, which gathers contextual information about the organisation, providing a valuable summary of potentially relevant material topics.

Following the scan, clients complete a detailed ESG assessment that explores these priority areas further and evaluates the organisation’s ESG maturity. Positive Planet consultants then host a materiality workshop to review and prioritise each impact, risk and opportunity. The outcome is a bespoke materiality matrix that provides clarity on the issues most important to the organisation.

Eevery further drives impact via the ‘Improve’ functionality built into the platform. The Improve tab provides suggestions on key areas for improvement to foster continual progress, with additional support (e.g. policy templates) available to download from the platform. All assessments and data are securely stored within the Eevery platform, giving clients a central hub to manage and update their ESG information over time.

“At Positive Planet, we are committed to helping businesses make sustainability a core part of their strategy. Partnering with Eevery allows us to offer our clients a practical and streamlined approach to ESG reporting, backed by a smart digital platform and our expert guidance.”

What’s next?

A materiality assessment sets your direction of travel. It provides a holistic view of your organisation by highlighting your key impacts, risks and opportunities. Materiality is often required to be disclosed as the first step in ESG reporting, and is a key tool creating a sustainability strategy bespoke to your organisation.
