Get to Know Andrea: Our Expert Trainer
Andrea has been part of the Positive Planet team for two years and is now our incredible Head of Training, leading a team of highly experienced and expert trainers. During her time so far at Positive Planet, Andrea has developed over 12 Carbon Literacy Courses for specific industries, Carbon Awareness Training, Leadership courses, and Net Zero for Professionals.
With a background rooted in education, Andrea brings a wealth of experience to her role. She has served as an Advanced Skills Teacher, focusing on brain-based pedagogy, as well as holding positions as a Lead Trainer and Senior Associate at Pearson and as an Associate Tutor at Edge Hill University. She has also earned certification in Kagan Training from the USA.
Andrea is deeply committed to leveraging her expertise to foster employee engagement in addressing the climate crisis within businesses. She believes strongly in the importance of collective action in reducing greenhouse gas emissions and combating global warming.

PK’s diverse experience spans global learning and development, business development, and climate and sustainability initiatives. She has worked across a large variety of sectors, collaborating with NGOs, non-profits, government entities, and for-profit businesses in the UK, EU, and US.
This breadth of experience allows her to effectively bridge the gap between knowledge and action, mobilising individuals and organisations to create a more sustainable future. At Positive Planet, PK is an environment and sustainability course creator and trainer, helping to create and deliver training to a wide range of private industry sectors from construction to banking and finance.

Introducing Connor: Your Carbon Solutions Specialist
Connor joined Positive Planet in 2022 and has contributed to the development of our sustainability training courses, alongside providing carbon footprint measurement & reduction planning services for clients. With prior experience as a Certification Coordinator at The Carbon Literacy Project, Connor supports the success and efficacy of Positive Planet’s Carbon Literacy training programmes. He delivers Carbon Literacy training to organisations across sectors, extending from C-Suite executives to supply chain stakeholders.
How our clients Vernacare made Carbon Literacy training a key part of their sustainability strategy
After attending some Positive Planet webinars, Vernacare’s ESG Project Manager decided to reach out for more information regarding Carbon Literacy training. Following some discussions, Vernacare opted for our Carbon Literacy training to be rolled out to the wider organisation to put carbon reduction in the spotlight at all levels of the business.
The training has resulted in a heightened focus on sustainability across Vernacare, engaging with Positive Planet’s Train the Trainer course to gain the tools and knowledge to deliver CL training internally.
