Positive Planet is proud to be accredited Platinum Carbon Literate Organisation status by the Carbon Literacy Project (CLP).
Being accredited as a Platinum Carbon Literate Organisation recognises our commitment to upskilling our people to play a proactive role in working towards a net zero future. It allows Positive Planet to set a positive example of sustainability leadership in our industry, demonstrates our commitment to maintaining a low-carbon organisational culture, and enables us to drive faster action on climate change.
To achieve this, all our team members are now Certified Carbon Literate and their carbon reduction pledges are reviewed on a monthly basis as part of our performance reviews. We celebrate the impact of the training we deliver quarterly by reporting the numbers of organisations involved in Carbon Literacy training (CLT), people certified and the estimated carbon emissions reduced.
We have enjoyed responding to a variety of client requests by writing and developing a range of different CLT courses. These include; CLT for SMEs, Professional Sports Clubs, Public Services, Social Housing, Education, Construction, and Travel & Tourism.
It has been a privilege to collaborate with other providers to roll out CLT to a large cohort of staff and students at ReaseHeath College in Cheshire, and work alongside Hotelshop UK, a fellow CLO, to create and deliver a Travel and Tourism CLT course to Hotelshop suppliers and other travel agents. We are excited by the prospect of further collaboration with our clients to develop more sector-specific training packs.
Positive Planet is committed to being a strong advocate for the CLP and using CLT as an important tool in reducing carbon emissions for our clients.
We now join over 100 other organisations that are also CLO and are fully committed to tackling the pressing climate change challenge and working for a more positive future for our planet.
